Opposition’s demand for caste census gets a big blow! Chandrababu Naidu stresses on ‘skill survey’, know the whole matter

New Delhi: The issue of caste census remained prominent in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Opposition parties have been continuously demanding caste census from the Center. Meanwhile, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who is part of the Narendra Modi government at the Center, has made a different move. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to start skill census in the state. he/she has also planned to give suggestions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard. The TDP president wants that the skills possessed by the country’s population should be found out and people should get the benefit of it.

Naidu’s emphasis on skill survey, not caste census

INDIA The parties in the alliance want to conduct a caste census, but Chandrababu Naidu said that his/her aim is to expand the PPP model i.e. ‘Public, Private, People’s Partnership’. he/she wants better results for the citizens. The Modi government is focusing on skill development and employment generation and some measures are expected in the Union Budget. The TDP chief said that the state has been left in a serious financial crisis by the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy government of Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the development of the state is his/her top priority.

We are going to start skill census in Andhra Pradesh!

Chandrababu Naidu says that although the development of Andhra Pradesh had come to a standstill due to the previous government, now he/she does not want to make any compromise in the development of the state. This is why the interruption of Polavaran irrigation project and the construction of Amaravati as the new capital of the state are included in his/her plan. he/she will do this by bringing a series of five white papers on the development of the state. Naidu has also held several meetings in Delhi regarding the development of the state.

Andhra CM told why this demand was made

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu said he/she will let the people decide what to do. he/she is looking to use his/her earlier experience to bring Andhra back on the path of development and attract investors, both domestic and foreign. Apart from Union ministers, the Andhra CM also met several industry leaders and acknowledged that there are concerns about the political atmosphere in the event of a change of power in the state. he/she also stressed that his/her party is not demanding any seats or a common agenda. This is because the BJP and NDA alliance partners have released their respective manifestos.

Development of Andhra is our goal- Naidu

Chandrababu Naidu said that we did not ask for any ministerial post from the Centre, not even during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s time. Whatever was offered, we accepted. he/she recalled accepting the post of Lok Sabha Speaker during the Vajpayee era. he/she said this was done to maintain good relations in the alliance. he/she said the party’s priority is to rebuild Andhra Pradesh, which has suffered irreparable damage in the last five years. Our aim is to rebuild the state in the next five years. The people of Andhra Pradesh have given the mandate to the NDA. We will work together. The quota for minorities is an issue that was flagged as a concern by Prime Minister Modi during the general elections. Chandrababu Naidu said his/her party had used economic backwardness to give reservation and not other considerations.
