New Delhi: Opposition MPs have written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla regarding the functioning of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). Opposition MPs have expressed displeasure over JPC’s state visits. Opposition MPs say that despite assuring them that their grievances will be addressed, JPC chairperson Jagdambika Pal continues to tour the state. Opposition MPs have boycotted the tour of five states. he/she says that the quorum is not complete in the meetings being held under the leadership of Pal.
