Before the meeting, it has also been revealed in the media report that in today’s meeting the formation of committees for the distribution of seats may also be discussed. Apart from this, the strategy to surround the Modi government on the issue of uniform civil code to inflation and unemployment will also be discussed.
Congress said – no support for the ordinance
The Aam Aadmi Party had earlier said that we will attend the Bengaluru meeting only if the Congress supports us in opposing the Centre’s ordinance in Parliament. In this regard, Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said in an interview- ‘We are continuously opposing the efforts of the central government to end federalism. We have been consistently opposing the central government’s attitude of running opposition-ruled states through governors. Our stand is very clear, we are not going to support the ordinance related to control of services in Delhi. On this decision of Congress, AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that it is a good initiative.
