This top university of Finland is giving scholarship to its students to study here. Indian students can also apply for this scholarship.
Actually, Oulu University has started the international scholarship application for the academic year 2025-2026. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to talented foreign students pursuing Bachelor or Master degree. Scholarship can be applied for between 8 January 2025 to 22 January 2025. Application for scholarship will have to be made online only, whereas you will get all the necessary information related to it on the website of the university.

Who can apply for the scholarship?

To get scholarship of Oulu University of Finland, first of all students have to take admission in their favorite course in the institute. Admission will be given only when all the eligibility criteria are fulfilled. Additionally, you will also have to pay the tuition fees prescribed for foreign students. Remember, each student can get this scholarship only once.

There are some rules on the basis of citizenship also. EU/EEA and Swiss citizens do not have to pay tuition fees and are therefore not eligible for the scholarship. Students from other countries (non-EU/EEA) will have to pay fees. However, they may get exemption in certain special cases. British citizens who have the right to residency under the Brexit agreement will also not have to pay fees. Scholarship amount will be decided according to the course.

What is the selection criteria?

Both admission and scholarship will be decided simultaneously. As soon as your admission to your international program is confirmed, you will be informed immediately if you have been awarded a scholarship. Scholarship will be given on the basis of your achievements and talent in your studies so far. In such a situation, students who want to get scholarship should first apply to the university.
