Opinion: America is going to such lengths for the terrorist who has been openly threatening India! This is not friendship, this is hypocrisy

New Delhi: America calls itself a friend of India, but its policy has always been duplicitous. America gives shelter to those accused who spew venom against India. Forget about taking action, it would not even agree to his/her extradition. There is no hesitation in saying that America’s eating teeth are different and different to show. No matter how much he/she keeps singing about friendship, the truth is something else. Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who has openly threatened India, is an American citizen, leave alone taking action against him/her, on the contrary, America has already accused Indian agencies of conspiring to murder Pannu.

What is the recent case?

The US has accused Vikas Yadav, a former Indian officer, of involvement in a plot to assassinate Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu on American soil. Yadav has worked in the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India. The US alleged that Vikas Yadav was a co-conspirator of Nikhil Gupta, who has also been charged earlier. If the charges are proved, the punishment can be 10 years in jail for conspiracy and 20 years for money laundering. At the same time, India has said that the person against whom America has made allegations is not an employee of the Indian government. In November last year, India had formed a high-level investigation committee to address security concerns raised by the US government.

Does America’s heart ache for India’s enemies?

Why does America, which calls itself a super power and anti-terrorism, often ache for India’s enemies? Khalistani terrorist Pannu keeps spewing venom against India every day, but America’s love for him/her does not diminish. The American government protects him/her. This attitude of America is not the first time. Even in the Nijjar case, America’s silence raises questions on its diplomacy. Pannu is in the list of India’s most wanted terrorists. America sees that someone is plotting to murder its citizen on its country’s soil. But he/she is unable to see how terrorist conspiracies against India are being hatched from American soil.

61 extradition requests pending with America

America’s hypocrisy can be gauged from the fact that it has not yet extradited 26/11 mastermind Tahawwur Rana. The American court has given permission for the extradition of the terrorist, yet he/she has not been sent. You will be surprised to know that America has 61 extradition requests pending. America, which calls India a friend, is not taking action on these extraditions. Even after this, it calls itself a strategic partner of India.

Also interferes in India’s internal affairs

It is not that America shows this attitude only in diplomatic or international issues. he/she also has a habit of interfering in the internal affairs of India. Look at the hypocrisy of America, it says that democracy is not safe in India, minorities are not safe, intolerance has increased. But he/she doesn’t look inside his/her chest. Recently, America’s leading opposition leader Donald Trump was attacked and shot. Incidents of firing keep coming to light there every day. Leave aside the common man, even the opposition leader is not safe there. But it’s a shame that he/she said anything on this issue. The saying we say here fits America perfectly, “Par Upadesh Kushal Bahutere”.
