New Delhi. Team India may have won the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 between India and South Africa, but this victory was not so easy for Rohit and company. Despite giving a huge target of 177 runs on this difficult pitch, Heinrich Klaasen’s charismatic innings almost took the match away from India’s bag. The reason for this was Axar Patel. This is because Klaasen thrashed Patel’s overs. Axar gave away 24 runs in the 15th over, after which the match seemed to be in South Africa’s bag.

South Africa needed 54 runs in the last 36 balls to win, but they needed only 30 runs in the last 30 balls to win. In such a situation, India lost its grip on the match due to a very bad over by Akshar Patel. The 16th over was bowled by Jaspreet Bumrah, in which four runs were scored. After this, in the very next over, captain Rohit Sharma also put Hardik Pandya on the bowling attack. Hardik dismissed Heinrich Klassen on the very first ball. After which Team India came back in the match.
