On the first day, only thunderous ‘bhaiya ji’ could not be showered! Opening remained loose, ‘Srikanth”s charm still persists

Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Bhaiya Ji’, released on Friday, has disappointed on the first day. Manoj, who is in action avatar in his/her 100th film, and the makers of the film released ‘Bhaiya Ji’ with great fanfare. But sadly, on the opening day it could only roar at the box office, it could not rain. This film, made under the direction of Apoorva Singh Karki, was expected to collect at least Rs 2-4 crore on Friday. But sadly the film could not earn even Rs 1.5 crore. On the other hand, Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ is still smiling even on its 15th day. The release of ‘Bhaiya Ji’ has had no impact on it. According to the report of sacnilk, the crime-thriller ‘Bhaiya Ji’ has collected a net of only Rs 1.30 crore on the first day. Not only this, the number of spectators who came to watch the film has also been very less. Despite the opening day, about 90 out of 100 chairs were seen empty in the theatres. In the morning shows, spectators were missing on 95 out of 100 chairs. After the kind of response that the teaser and trailer of the film got, it was felt that this film will remove the lack of a masala movie in theaters for a long time. But sadly, this does not seem to be happening.

‘Bhaiya Ji’ lagging behind in earnings from multiplexes, less emphasis on single screen also

A big problem of ‘Bhaiya Ji’ is that the makers have made it keeping in mind the single screen theater and small town audiences. This is not a film for the multiplex audiences of big cities and this has proved to be detrimental for the film. Earnings are high from multiplexes, but this film is not able to appeal to the audience there. Whereas even in single screen theatres, crowd of spectators gather, in this respect Manoj Bapjeyi’s stardom has faded a bit. he/she is definitely a strong actor, but his/her stardom is not such that he/she brings an army of fans to the ticket window.

‘Srikanth’ earned crores even on the 15th day

On the other hand, the success of Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ continues even on the 15th day. On Friday, once again the film has earned more than Rs. On the 15th day, this film has done a business of Rs 1.20 crore. A day earlier on Thursday it had collected Rs 1.45 crore. In such a situation, due to the arrival of ‘Bhaiya Ji’ and Hollywood film ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’, it has definitely suffered a loss of Rs 25 lakh. But there are chances of increase in earnings in the coming weekend. Visually impaired businessman Srikanth said that this biopic has made a total collection of Rs 32.70 crore in 15 days.

New OTT Release: From ‘Panchayat 3’ to ‘Crew’ and ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, watch these 7 movies and web series this weekend

Earnings will decrease due to Lok Sabha elections on Saturday

One thing to be understood here is that the sixth phase of elections is taking place in the country on Saturday, May 25. In such a situation, many areas of Delhi, UP and Bihar will be affected by this. Due to the scorching heat the audience is also staying away from theatres. Therefore, ‘Bhaiya ji’ may have to suffer losses on the second day on Saturday. There are definitely chances of the earnings increasing on Sunday, but considering the way the film is not getting much appreciation, there is no sign of much increase in it.
