On the day of Chhath, Sharda Sinha merged into Panchatatva, son lit the funeral pyre, bid farewell with state honours.


Singer Sharda Sinha, who was considered synonymous with great festivals like Swar Kokila and Chhath of Bihar, merged into Panchatattva today. his/her son Anshuman lit his/her funeral pyre with more tears in his/her heart than in his/her eyes. At his/her funeral he/she was given a guard of honor and farewell.

Sharda Sinha was given last farewell with state honours. The singer was cremated at Gulbi Ghat. People bid farewell with moist eyes. Many leaders also participated in the last darshan. On one hand, while the people of Bihar are busy preparing for Chhath Puja, on the other hand there is a pain in everyone’s heart of losing Sharda Sinha. This time his/her fans are celebrating Chhath with a heavy heart and every heart is crying for him/her.

Even in the hospital, Sharda Sinha was practicing singing in her last moments.

Slogans of ‘Sharda Sinha remain immortal’ and ‘Chhathi Maiya Jai’ were raised.

Sharda Sinha’s mortal remains came out of her house in Rajendra Nagar, Patna, where her family members supported her mortal remains. A huge crowd gathered there to bid farewell to Sharda Sinha, which included countless of her fans. During this last farewell, people also raised slogans of ‘Sharda Sinha Amar Rahein’ and ‘Chhathi Maiya Jai’.

Took his/her last breath on Tuesday night at 9.20 pm

Sharda Sinha breathed her last at 9.20 pm on Tuesday night at AIIMS, Delhi. Let us tell you that Sharda Sinha was suffering from illness for a long time. She was admitted in the hospital for about 15 days. Sharda Sinha was suffering from blood cancer since 2017. However, her condition worsened recently when her husband passed away. Her son Anshuman had told that after the passing of his/her father, the mother was completely entangled in the grip of this disease.

Sharda Sinha’s voice became silent when it was the first day of Chhath.

Chhath Puja songs are incomplete without the songs of Sharda Sinha. he/she has sung many Chhath songs for the Chhath festival like ‘Kelwa Ke Paat Par Ugalan Surajmal Jhuke Jhuke’ and ‘Suna Chhathi Mai’. It seems as if Chhath festival is incomplete without these songs. The songs sung by him/her Desh Kya, Saat Samundar Paar are also heard. Sharda Sinha’s voice became silent on Tuesday night, when it was the first day of Chhath festival.
