On behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chadar will be offered in Ajmer Sharif on January 4, Hindu Sena protested.

New Delhi : This time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will offer a chadar at Ajmer Sharif Dargah for the 11th time. On his/her part, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will offer a chadar at the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti on January 4. Meanwhile, Hindu Sena has protested against the offering of chadar in Ajmer Sharif on behalf of the Prime Minister. They claim that this Dargah is actually Sankat Mochan Mahadev Temple. President of the organization Vishnu Gupta has written a letter to the Principal Secretary in the PMO demanding that the program of offering chadar on behalf of the PM in the Dargah should be suspended till the Dargah-Temple case is pending in the court. Khwaja in Ajmer Sharif Moinuddin Chishti’s annual Urs has started from 28th December. Last time too, Prime Minister Modi had sent a chadar to the Dargah whose color was saffron. Then Rajasthan State President of BJP Minority Morcha, Jamal Siddiqui had offered a chadar at the Dargah on behalf of the PM. Before that, the then Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi used to go to offer chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Modi.

This time Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will go to Ajmer Sharif with the chadar on behalf of the PM. he/she will also launch the Dargah website and Garib Nawaz App.

Hindu army protested
Hindu Sena has opposed the offering of ‘chadar’ by Prime Minister Modi in Ajmer Sharif. National President of Hindu Sena, Vishnu Gupta has written a letter to the PMO and appealed that the PM should not do this. In a letter to the Principal Secretary, Gupta has said that he/she is the petitioner in the Sankat Mochan Mahadev Mandir vs Ajmer Dargah Khwaja Saheb case and the case is pending in the Ajmer West District Court.

he/she has claimed in the letter that in this case he/she has presented sufficient evidence in the court that an ancient Hindu Shiva temple exists in Ajmer Sharif, which was built by the Chauhan dynasty. In this matter, he/she has demanded a scientific survey of the entire Ajmer Dargah Sharif complex. he/she has requested in the letter that until the court’s decision comes in this matter, the offering of chadar at the Dargah by the PM should be suspended. Gupta’s petition is to be heard on January 24.
