Currently, a 14 year old girl is in the news because of her stormy innings in ODI. Ira Jadhav played an unbeaten inning of 346 runs on 157 balls to give Mumbai a record win of 544 runs against Meghalaya in the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy. Jadhav hit 42 fours, 16 sixes and batted at a strike rate of 220.38, taking the team’s score to 563 for 3 wickets.

Jadhav ruined Meghalaya’s bowling
Ira Jadhav’s opening partnership with Alina Mulla was only 39 runs but after this, along with captain Harley Gala, they made a partnership of 274 runs for the second wicket. When the captain was out after scoring 116 runs in 79 balls, Mumbai’s score was 313 runs even before 32 overs. In this partnership, Jadhav scored 149 runs in 71 balls.
