By Train: Kota is a major railway station on the Delhi-Mumbai route. Trains from Mumbai, Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Pune stop at the station.

By Road: Kota is well connected by road. State transport buses ply regularly from Udaipur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer and other cities of Rajasthan.
