Hospital officials said that Rukhsana was undergoing treatment for scrub typhus (high fever), but she died on Wednesday night. The cause of her death has not been disclosed yet.

Rukhsana had received threats, her mother and sister revealed

Family members said that Rukhsana fell ill after drinking juice during shooting in Bolangir about 15 days ago. She was admitted to a hospital in Bhawanipatna on August 27.

Rukhsana was treated in three hospitals

Rukhsana’s sister Ruby Bano told the media, ‘After initial treatment, Rukhsana was admitted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir. Later her condition deteriorated, after which she was referred to a private hospital in Bargarh. Despite this, when there was no improvement in her health, she was brought to AIIMS Bhubaneswar.’ Rukhsana’s mother also released a video making allegations, which is going viral.
