Now terrorists are not safe in their own home… PM’s statement will definitely irritate Pakistan


New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke on terrorism and the situation in India. PM Modi compared terrorism at present and the situation of about one and a half decade ago. PM Modi said that now terrorists are not feeling safe even in their own homes, whereas during the time of previous governments, people used to feel unsafe due to terrorism. PM Modi may not have taken anyone’s name but by mentioning the houses of terrorists, the target was definitely Pakistan. India has repeatedly exposed Pakistan’s policy of giving shelter to terrorists to the world on global forums.

‘Time has changed now…’

Addressing the HT Leadership Summit in Delhi, the Prime Minister said that times have changed. Modi said he/she saw reports on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks at an exhibition organized at the event. he/she said that at that time people of India felt unsafe due to terrorism, but now times have changed and now terrorists are not able to feel safe even in their own homes.

There was a time when our people lived unsafe even in their homes and cities due to terrorist activities in neighboring countries, but now the situation has changed. Now not only the terrorists there are safe in their homes.

News of record voting instead of violence in Kashmir

The Prime Minister said that in the exhibition he/she saw the old news of Kashmir’s merger with India and he/she felt the same enthusiasm as the people of the country had felt in October 1947. he/she said that at that moment I realized how the conditions of indecision had kept Kashmir surrounded by violence for seven decades. Modi said that it is a matter of happiness that the news of record voting in the recent elections held in Jammu and Kashmir is being published in newspapers.

Mention of Bodoland Festival

Referring to the first Bodoland Mahotsav organized here on Friday, the Prime Minister said that it is a big achievement that the youth and people have given up violence after five decades. Attending a cultural program in Delhi. he/she said that people’s lives have changed after the Bodo Peace Accord of 2020.
