Now spreading filth at the railway station will be costly, this action will also be taken along with fine.

Bhagalpur. Now there is no peace for those who spread filth at the railway station. Railways has implemented a new system for those who spread filth. Now, if you are caught spreading dirt at the railway station, you will definitely be fined. Also, your photo will be made public through a poster. This will make you a laughing stock and will also embarrass you a lot.

Passengers spread filth all over the station. This dirt is of all types, from polythene bags, plastic items to gutkha. Malda Division’s DRM Vikas Choubey has given instructions to identify such passengers and take strict action.

posters will be printed
Malda Division’s DRM Vikas Choubey said that passengers litter on the platform of the station. Due to this, other passengers also have to face problems. In such a situation, we came up with an idea. Whoever is caught littering, urinating somewhere, spitting after eating gutkha, or throwing garbage somewhere other than the dustbin will be fined. If the passengers do not agree despite this, then their photographs will be taken and posters will be pasted in public places. The name of the passenger will also be written in big letters. After this, until the passenger takes an oath not to litter, his photo will not be removed from the poster.

25 thousand rupees recovered in one day
Railways collected a fine of around Rs 25,000 from 113 passengers in a single day for littering at Bhagalpur station. A fine ranging from ₹200 to ₹500 is charged from them. Special arrangements are being made to monitor those who spread filth through CCTV.
