On the other hand, the great actor Ronit Roy, who has traveled from TV to films, has also said that his/her experience while working in Vashu’s film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ was very painful. What is the whole matter?

It is known that Vasu Bhagnani had accused Netflix of not paying his/her dues. Three of his/her films – ‘Hero Number One’, ‘Mission Raniganj’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ were streamed on Netflix. It is alleged that Rs 47.37 crore of its streaming rights has not been paid yet.

Netflix had called the allegations baseless

At the same time, Netflix hit back and said that these allegations are baseless and on the contrary, they are owed money. Recently, senior level officials of Netflix were called by EOW regarding this matter, but they were not present.

Netflix is ​​not cooperating!

Senior Inspector Ravindra Awhad, who is handling the case, had earlier said, ‘Netflix has to give this Rs 47.37 crore to Vashu Bhagnani. But Netflix is ​​not cooperating. We sent him/her two summons, but he/she did not appear. Bhagnani came to us in April, gave his/her statement and submitted documents. Netflix asked for time off, but it never came. They keep sending lower level employees, but Monica Shergill (Content Head, Netflix India) should be present.

Vasu had complained in April

In April this year, Vashu Bhagnani had filed a complaint that Netflix, along with two companies ‘Los Gatos Production Services India’ and ‘Zoo Digital India’, had banned his/her three films ‘Hero No. 1’ (still being filmed), ‘ Intervened in ‘Mission Raniganj’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’. he/she said Netflix owed him/her money.

Ali Abbas Zafar had filed a complaint

On one hand, Vasu Bhagnani’s production house is blaming Netflix, while on the other hand, director Ali Abbas Zafar had accused Vasu’s company. he/she had also filed a complaint in this matter, because he/she directed the film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ and he/she did not get his/her money. The production house has not paid him/her Rs 7.30 crore.

Vasu retaliated, then went back on his/her own statement

After this allegation, Vasu’s side accused Ali Abbas Zafar of allegedly misusing the subsidy amount taken from Abu Dhabi authorities during the shooting. Later he/she withdrew this counterattack. Now Ronit Roy has also shared his/her pain.

Ronit Roy did not receive his/her payment

Actor Ronit Roy has come out against producer Vasu Bhagnani. In an interview given to Zoom, Ronit said, ‘The money was to come from Vashu Bhagnani, it came from Vashu Bhagnani, but it happened only after the intervention of Himanshu Mehra (who used to work with Ali Abbas Zafar). My staff and the company that provided my security on the set got delayed payment, that too because of Himanshu. Ronit also said that his/her experience was very painful and he/she will never work with Vasu Bhagnani again.
