Now Reliance will put your “four moons in beauty”, launched ‘Tira’ and stepped into the beauty segment

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group is continuously expanding its portfolio. Recently, after venturing into the cold drink business, the company has now forayed into the beauty segment. Reliance Retail has launched the beauty retail platform ‘Tira’ on Wednesday. The country’s leading retailer will now compete with brands like HUL’s Lakme, Nykaa, Tata and LVMH’s Sephora in India’s growing beauty and personal care segment.

Reliance Retail announced the launch of Tira, an omnichannel beauty retail platform. Tira will reach out to consumers through an app and website. Reliance Retail has also opened a Tira store at Jio World Drive in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Industry sources said Tira stores could be expanded across cities.

According to online market and consumer data platform Statista, the Indian beauty and personal care market is currently worth $27.23 billion. 12 of the total income of the industry.

7 percent comes from online sales.

Isha Ambani, Executive Director, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, said, “We are excited to offer Teera to our Indian customers. With Teera, we aim to break down barriers in the beauty segment and bring beauty to the masses for consumers across segments.”

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL) is the holding company of Reliance Retail. The Tira store at Jio World Drive is spread over 4,300 sq ft and has been designed by London-headquartered innovation studio Dalzeel & Pau. RRVL is the holding company of all the retail companies of the Reliance Industries Limited group led by billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani.
