New Delhi : The role of women soldiers is going to increase in CISF. Important information was given by the Center regarding the soon to be formed women battalion of CISF. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said the Central Industrial Security Force Mahila Battalion will take over the security of the country’s critical infrastructure like airports and metro rail and will provide security to VIPs in the form of commandos.

Approval has been given for full women battalion

The Central government on Monday approved the first all-women battalion of over 1,000 personnel in the CISF in view of the increased deployment of the force at VIPs, airports and other important establishments. Shah said in a post on Has given.
