Currently, Ranbir Kapoor’s next release is ‘Love and War’ being made under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. he/she has started shooting for it. In the year 2007, Ranbir debuted on the big screen as a lead hero with Bhansali’s film ‘Saawariya’. In such a situation, this is the second film of both of them together. The special thing is that in this film Ranbir will once again be seen with his/her wife Alia Bhatt. he/she will also share the screen with his/her co-star Vicky Kaushal in ‘Sanju’.

‘Love and War’ was earlier scheduled to release on the occasion of Christmas 2025. But now it will be postponed and released in theaters on March 20, 2026, during the holidays of Ramzan, Ram Navami and Gudi Padwa. This is a love triangle film, in which Ranbir is playing a gray character.

‘Ramayana Part: 1’ and ‘Ramayana: Part 2’

Ever since Nitesh Tiwari has announced ‘Ramayana’, the desire of fans to see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram on screen is increasing. This film being made on the epic will be released in two parts. In the film, Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Mother Sita and KGF fame Yash Lankapati is playing the role of Ravana along with Ranbir Kapoor. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil and Kunal Kapoor.

The first part of ‘Ramayana’ being made under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari will hit the theaters in 2026 on the occasion of Diwali. Its second part will be released a year later on Diwali of 2027. Namit Malhotra is also among the producers of this film, whose VFX company has won Oscars for films like ‘Interstellar’ and ‘Dune’.

Dhoom 4

Since last year, it has been discussed that Yash Raj Films is preparing to take forward its blockbuster ‘Dhoom franchise’. There is news that Ranbir Kapoor will be in the lead role in the next film of ‘Dhoom series’ i.e. ‘Dhoom 4’. Earlier, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan have played the role of villain in this franchise. Another information is that ‘Dhoom 4’ will be a reboot of this franchise.

Although, no official announcement has been made regarding ‘Dhoom 4’, but according to the report of ‘Pinkvilla’, its shooting will start in December 2025 and the film will be released in 2027.

‘Animal Park’ and ‘Animal: Part 3’

In the year 2023, Ranbir Kapoor created a stir in the role of Ranvijay in ‘Animal’. Everyone was stunned to see his/her violent and scary appearance. In the end-credit scene of this film itself, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had announced the sequel ‘Animal Park’. Now recently, during the Red Sea International Film Festival 2024, Ranbir revealed that this sequel film will go on the floors in 2027.
