Left organisations like All India Students Association (AISA), Revolutionary Youth Organisation and many students from different institutions including JNU, DU participated in the protest.

Demand to conduct JNUEE again

The JNU Students Union has demanded that all the entrance examinations of JNU should be held by JNU itself, and not by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as before. After the cancellation of the UGC NET exam following the paper leak and result irregularities in the NEET UG exam, the union has demanded that the JNU Entrance Exam should be held for undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and PhD courses as before.

JNUSU President Dhananjay said, ‘Our demand is that students across the country are troubled, NEET paper has been leaked, there has been rigging in the examination, the main reason for this is the National Testing Agency, it should be closed. This agency should not conduct any entrance exam now. Our demand is that this is happening at the behest of the Union Education Minister, he/she should resign. Third, NEET exam should be held again. Till these demands are not met, our protest will continue.’
