It is believed that planting a Shami plant in the house during Sawan brings the blessings of Lord Shiva on your family. You can plant this plant in a pot either as a cutting or a seed. You have to take a 6 to 8 cm long cutting of a healthy plant and remove the lower leaves before planting it in a pot at a depth of 3 to 4 inches. Along with irrigating daily, add fertilizer from time to time.

Not only the flower of Dhatura but its fruit is also offered to Lord Shiva. This plant should be planted in a pot at home on Monday and Tuesday in the month of Sawan. Now fill the pot with good quality soil and plant a seed or a plant from the nursery in it. It does not require much water as it is a desert plant, so just keep the soil wet and do not irrigate more than necessary. Keep in mind that the pot should be avoided in the sun until the plant comes out from the seed.

It is said that planting a money plant in the month of Sawan brings Goddess Lakshmi to the house and there is no financial crisis. In such a situation, instead of planting the money plant in a pot, you can first develop its roots by placing it in a bottle. When the roots start appearing, transfer it to a pot. Money plant does not require much water to grow and keep it green, so water it only when the soil dries up.
