Not ‘Chandu’ but ‘Munjya’ is the real champion! It has earned 177% more than the budget in 17 days

Everyone is stunned by the super success of Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma’s ‘Munjya’. 17 days have passed since the release of the film and its earnings are surprising every day. This film has also done a business of Rs 15.35 crore in its third weekend. Not only this, once again in the weekend it has defeated the 10-day old ‘Chandu Champion’. In its second weekend, Kartik Aryan’s film has earned Rs 14 crore. Horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ directed by Aditya Sarpotdar is the strongest film at the box office right now. This can be guessed from the fact that it earned Rs 4 crore on the opening day. Whereas according to sacnilk, on the 17th day, Sunday, it has made a net collection of Rs 6.85 crore. In this way, ‘Munjya’ has made a net collection of Rs 83.30 crore in the country. Moreover, the film’s shows witnessed an audience occupancy of 33% on Sunday.

‘Munjya’ earned Rs 102 crore worldwide

The trend of the film is very strong at this time. Especially, in many centers of CP Berar and Maharashtra, it is going to leave behind the highest grossing film of the year ‘Fighter’. ‘Munjya’ has also achieved a big feat in terms of worldwide collection on Sunday. This film is now a part of the 100 crore club worldwide. In 17 days, it has grossed Rs 102.60 crore in the global market.

The release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will change the maths of ‘Munjya’

The budget of ‘Munjya’ is around Rs 30 crore. In such a situation, if we consider the total net collection of Rs 83.30 crore in the country so far, then it has earned 177% more than its budget in 17 days. It is expected that the film will earn more than Rs 100 crore in its lifetime in the country. However, its problems will increase from Thursday, June 27, because with the release of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, the number of its shows will also be reduced.

Box Office Day 3: ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ flopped in the first weekend itself, ‘Humare Barah’ and JNU flopped

‘Chandu Champion’ earned 69 crore rupees worldwide

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ continues to struggle at the box office. On the 10th day of its release on Sunday, it has earned Rs 6.5 crore in the country. Thus, the total collection of the film has reached Rs 49.25 crore. Kartik’s film has so far made a gross worldwide collection of Rs 69 crore.

‘Chandu Champion’ has a budget of Rs 120 crore

‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan, is the biopic of Murlikant Petkar. The release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will increase the problems for this film. This is because it is already suffering the brunt of the popularity of ‘Munjya’, while in the future, due to the big release of Prabhas and Deepika’s film, its shows will reduce further. The budget of the film is around Rs 120 crore. In such a situation, it seems that this film has missed out on becoming a champion at the box office.
