No double standards on terrorism, PM Modi gave a big message to Pakistan from Kazan


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Returning to India from Russia’s heritage city Kazan after participating in the BRICS Summit. During the BRICS Summit, he/she held separate bilateral talks with Russian President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Not only this, many important issues were also raised in the BRICS Summit. While addressing the summit, he/she called upon all the countries to unite against terrorism and terror financing. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi also gave strong messages to the neighboring country Pakistan. Not only this, at the BRICS Summit, PM Modi stressed the need for reforms in global institutions like the United Nations Security Council, which is facing criticism for its failure to stop the Israel-Gaza war.

PM Modi gave a clear message to Pakistan from Kazan that there should not be double standards on terrorism. The Prime Minister held bilateral talks with Russian President Putin on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan, where he/she said India is ready to provide all possible help in ending the Russia-Ukraine war. We should move forward in a timely manner to reform global institutions like the United Nations Security Council, Multilateral Development Bank, World Trade Organization.

PM Modi also raised the issue of terrorism during this period. he/she said that to deal with terrorism and its funding, we all have to unite and cooperate strongly. Giving a clear message to Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi said that there is no room for double standards on a serious issue like terrorism. We should take active steps to prevent radicalization among the youth of our country.

A big thing said about the image of BRICS

PM Modi said that while taking forward the efforts of BRICS, we should keep in mind that the image of this organization should not be such that we do not want to reform global institutions but want to change them. The Prime Minister said that at a time when West Asia, parts of Europe (Russia, Ukraine) and Africa are facing humanitarian crisis, we support dialogue and diplomacy, not war.

Prime Minister Modi said that there is talk of North-South and East-West division in the world. We should give a message to the world that BRICS is not a divisive but a group of public interest.
