When popular American singer and actor Nick Jonas married Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, Indian fans started calling him/her Jiju. Nick Jonas became the ‘National Jiju’ of all Indian fans. Recently, in an interview, Nick Jonas talked about this and told why fans call him/her ‘National Jiju’ and how he/she feels. Nick Jonas said on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ that when he/she married Priyanka Chopra, National Jiju became a hashtag. Nick married Priyanka on 1 December 2018, and they also have a daughter.

On the tag of ‘National Jiju’, Nick Jonas said, “As you know, I am married to Priyanka. When we got married, this hashtag started. I was ‘National Jiju’. Jiju means husband of elder sister, so I am the elder brother of India.” The show’s host also played a clip of Jonas Brothers’ concert in India, in which Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas introduced him/her as ‘Jiju’.
