New Delhi : Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Tuesday that the railway administration is alert about possible attempts of sabotage. he/she said that to prevent any untoward incident, it is talking to the administration and police in many states. The Union Minister said that the central government is taking the security threats (of railways) very seriously. Vaishnav said that strict action will be taken against anyone who tries to cause such an accident. This is our resolve.

NIA is also involved in the investigation

Vaishnav said that the entire railway administration is fully alert. There is constant communication with all the state governments, Director Generals of Police (DGPs) of the states, and Home Secretaries. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is also involved in this. After reaching Jaipur, Vaishnav met Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma at the Chief Minister’s residence. Officials described Vaishnav’s meeting as a courtesy visit.

Inspection of Roof Plaza

According to officials, during the meeting, the two leaders discussed the expansion of railway facilities in Rajasthan. Vaishnav also inspected the ‘roof plaza’ built at Gandhi Nagar railway station in Jaipur. The Union Minister said that the plaza will connect two parts of the city. he/she said that the plaza at Gandhi Nagar railway station is one of the first such projects in the country. The Railway Minister is also scheduled to board an engine equipped with ‘Kavach’ technology at Sawai Madhopur railway station at 4 pm and travel for 45 minutes to Indergarh station.
