New web series: Jackie Shroff is coming as a beast in the world of prostitution, teaser created a stir

Bollywood’s veteran actor Jackie Shroff was seen in the avatar of a dreaded villain in ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Baby John’ released last year. The audience is also liking his/her style. Now he/she is going to be seen in his/her similar dangerous style in the OTT world also. The teaser of a new web series ‘Chidiya Ud’ has come, which is said to be based on a real life story. In this, Jackie Shroff is seen as the ‘keeper’ of the world of prostitution. ‘I protect the buds of delicacy, here even the bird takes my permission before flying.’ This is the only dialogue in this teaser of less than a minute. ‘Chidiya Ud’ is based on Abid Surti’s novel ‘Cage’. This web series has been directed by Ravi Jadhav. Whereas Madhur Bhandarkar, who has won the National Award, has also made a creative contribution to the series.

The story of ‘Chidiya Ud’ is woven on the life of Mumbai’s underworld and red-light area. The story revolves around a girl who is fighting for her freedom from this infamous street. That street whose path is decorated with crime and conflict of power.

Apart from Jackie Shroff, the web series stars actors like Bhumika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More and Meeta Vashishtha. The release date of the series has not been announced, but it will stream on Amazon MX Player.
