New series: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s treasure, Shiledaar’s secret… New show from Munjya director

There are many such stories in the pages of Indian history, about which the common man is not very aware. Aditya Sarpotdar, director of the superhit horror-comedy like ‘Munjya’, is now bringing a web series ‘The Secret of Shiledars’ on a similar untold story. The makers have released its 52-second teaser, in which Rajeev Khandelwal is engaged in the search and protection of the treasure. Sai Tamhankar will also be seen with her in this series. ‘The Secret of Shiledars’ is a story of bravery, loyalty and duty. In the teaser we see that Rajeev Khandelwal is given a responsibility. There is an organization which protects the treasure by becoming stone keeper. This treasure belongs to Chhatrapati Maharaj Shivaji. This teaser of less than a minute has action, mystery and the search for cultural heritage.

‘The Secret of Shildars’ release date

The makers have announced the promo of ‘The Secret of the Shiledars’ as well as its release date. This series will be released on OTT platform ‘Disney + Hotstar’ on January 31, 2025. All episodes of the show will stream on the same day. While sharing the promo on social media, it is written, ‘They have been maintaining the tradition and rule for centuries – Shiledaar! All episodes of Hotstar Specials ‘The Secret of the Shiledars’ will be streamed from January 31.

What did Rajeev Khandelwal say about the series?

Talking about the series, Rajeev says, ‘This series is a different kind of story and my character in it is also quite different. Most of us are fascinated by history, I too was mesmerized when Aditya narrated the script to me. This increased my excitement for such a fun project. On the other hand, Sai Tamhankar is also excited about this series telling the story of the legacy of Marathas and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
