Neeraj’s fans across the country including Bollywood actors were also shocked by this sad news. Born on 22 January 1963 in Gujarat, Neeraj was famous for his comedy films in Bollywood. Neeraj had changed the face of comedy in Bollywood with his tickling pen. Neeraj had told through his films that clean and family comedy films are the life of Indian cinema.
Neeraj Vora has written films like the iconic film Hera Pheri released in 2000, Awara Deewana Pagal released in 2002, Hungama in 2003, Garam Masala in 2005, Chup Chup Ke in 2006. Along with this, some films have also been directed by Neeraj himself. Neeraj changed the fortunes of 10 stars like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty along with adding a touch of comedy to Bollywood.
Akshay Kumar, who had his action and romantic image in the 90s, saw a lot of groom in his career as soon as the film Hera Pheri was released. Neeraj, who has been honored with many awards in his career, wanted to make the third part of his film Hera Pheri in the year 2016. Neeraj had also started work regarding this. But fate had approved something else. In the year 2017, Neeraj was working on the story of Hera Pheri 3, during which he suffered a brain stroke and had to be hospitalized. The love of Neeraj, who fought for life in the hospital for several days, can be gauged from the fact that Nadiadwala had got an ICU unit installed in his house to take care of Neeraj. So that Neeraj can be properly taken care of at home.

However, Neeraj finally breathed his last on 14 December 2017 at the age of 54. There was silence in Bollywood due to Neeraj’s death. Many veteran actors of Bollywood expressed condolences on the death of Neeraj. Remembering Neeraj Vora, Paresh Rawal told Bollywood Hungama, ‘I knew Neeraj since the 80s.
His sense of humor was amazing. He saw things very differently from others. Even Neeraj’s father Vinayak Bhai was amazing in terms of sense of humour. It was from here that Neeraj also got the same gift. I have never seen a dull moment with Neeraj. The mind used to become happy just by seeing his personality.
