The students were given grace marks for the loss of time due to the delay in starting the exam at six centres in Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Gujarat and Chandigarh, which were later withdrawn. Now the medical entrance exam is being held again.Six students had scored 720 marks in the NEET UG exam, while 61 others were accused of inflating their marks. The re-exam will be held on Sunday at seven centres - six of which are new. "While all other exam centres have changed, the one in Chandigarh where only two candidates will appear will remain the same," a senior NTA official said."Apart from this, officials of the agency and the Union Education Ministry will also be present at these centres. This step has been taken to ensure smooth conduct of the re-examination," the official said.Guidelines for NEET UG Re-Exam 2024:NTA will re-conduct the NEET UG exam in 6 cities on June 23, 2024 from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM. Candidates have to download their admit cards from exam.nta.ac.in using their application number and date of birth.Heavy clothing or long-sleeved clothing is not permitted.Traditional dress is allowed, but candidates in such attire are asked to report at least one hour before the final reporting time.Low-heeled shoes and slippers are allowed, but not boots.Any change other than the guidelines in unavoidable circumstances requires special approval or permission from NTA.
