NEET UG 2024 answer key released, here’s how to raise objections

NEET 2024 Answer Key Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024. The NTA has also released scanned images of the OMR answer sheets and recorded responses. Students who took the exam can download their answer keys by visiting the official website till 11:50 pm tomorrow, May 31. neet.nta.nic.in You can go to and register your objection against the answer key.

The exam was held on 5 May
The NEET UG exam was conducted on 5 May 2024 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm in 571 cities across the country and 14 cities outside India. For which a total of 4750 examination centers were set up. More than 24 lakh students appeared in all the centers. The exam was conducted amid tight security. However, there were also reports of paper leak at some centers, regarding which a petition has also been filed in the court and a demand is being made to conduct the exam again and release the result.

This is how you can lodge an objection against the wrong answer in NEET UG

  • Visit the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on NTA NEET UG 2024 official answer key link on the home page.
  • Enter the login details and click on submit.
  • Your answer key will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the answer key and download the page.
  • Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
  • To file objections, students have to log in with their application number and date of birth.
  • Students will have to pay Rs 200 for each objection.
  • Now upload the relevant documents and submit them.
  • Now download a copy of the form and keep it with you.

Negative marking is applicable in the exam
Students can also match their answers by downloading the answer key. Also, they can check the correct and wrong answers. As per the NEET UG 2024 marking scheme, if your answer is correct, then students will get four marks and if the answer is wrong, then one mark will be deducted. This exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks which contained questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
