NEET Result PDF 2024: What’s the ‘glitch’ in NEET result?

The part of the PDF being shared on X is of the NEET 2024 topper list. In this, NEET roll number, name, marks and rank from serial number 62 to 69 have been highlighted. Actually, the NEET Roll Number Series here is the same. That is, all are from the same center. None of these students has a surname in their name. 6 out of 8 students have got 720 out of 720 marks. The other two have 719, 718.

An expert wrote on Twitter-

718 and 719 Marks in NEET: 718, 719 marks in NEET

Experts say that after 720 marks in NEET, one can get 716 marks. How are 719 and 718 marks being obtained? What maths has been used in giving marks? Along with this, a screenshot of a notice from NTA is being shared. It is written in it that some students had faced the problem of time loss in the exam, due to which they have been given grace marks. Therefore, the marks can also be 718 and 719.

However, no such notice is present on nta.ac.in or neet.nta.nic.in. Students are advised to visit only the official website for official information. However, in view of the NEET paper leak, petitions demanding re-conduct of NEET exam have been filed in the Supreme Court. The court has said that it will hear these in July.
