NEET PG 2024: NEET PG exam will be held in August, computer will select the questions

NEET PG 2024 exam will be held next month in August. The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the exam schedule in the next few days. Sources say that the question papers will be digitally generated (securely) on the morning of the exam day. This exam will be in Computer Based Test (CBT). Board Well Preparations are going on for the PG examination and a notification will be issued regarding the new schedule of the examination (NEET PG Exam Date 2024 New).

About 2.28 lakh candidates had registered for NEET PG 2024. The exam was to be held on June 23 last month, but a day before the exam, the board had decided to postpone NEET PG. According to the board, the decision to postpone the NEET PG entrance exam was taken as a precautionary measure in view of the recent incidents of allegations of malpractice in some competitive examinations.

Sources say that the exam will be conducted only after examining and reviewing all the aspects related to the exam. All measures are being taken to ensure that there is no irregularity regarding the NEET PG exam-

  • To ensure that the digitally generated question paper is completely safe, the paper (NEET PG Question Paper 2024) will be generated on the morning of the exam day itself.
  • The system will automatically select the questions and the paper will be generated in a secure manner.
  • By generating the paper just a few hours before the exam, the possibility of paper leak will be completely eliminated.
  • In the pen and paper mode, the question paper has to be set in advance and the chances of paper leak increases while delivering it to the centres.

Decision taken in the meeting of Home Ministry, Health Ministry, NBEMS, TCS and Cyber ​​Cell

The Health Ministry has decided to conduct a thorough evaluation of the robustness of the processes of the NEET PG entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for medical students. Sources say that a meeting held in the Union Home Ministry on Monday was attended by officials from the Health Ministry, National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) as well as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Cyber ​​Cell.

Students who qualify NEET PG get admission in MD/MS/DNB and Diploma courses. After MBBS, admission is taken in PG courses for specialization. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) is the first choice of students. Whereas after non-clinical courses, one becomes eligible to become a faculty.
