NEET MDS Cut off: NEET MDS 2024 cut off has decreased, now those with less marks will be able to become dental doctors

NEET MDS Medical Admission 2024: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reduced the cut-off for NEET MDS. NEET MDS stands for ‘National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery’. This exam is for becoming a dentist. Earlier there were different cut-offs for different categories, but now it has been reduced. The cut-off has been reduced by 21.692 percent for general category, 21.692 percent for SC/ST/OBC and 21.692 percent for Divyang candidates.

‘The revised qualifying cut-off percentage has been released. This new cut-off will be applicable for all categories.’ The new result will be released soon. Earlier, the NEET MDS result was declared on April 3. The exam was held on March 18.

Now more students will be able to get admission due to the reduction in cut-off. MCC will now start registration for NEET MDS counseling again. MCC looks after the counseling process.

With the reduction in NEET MDS cut-off, now more number of students will qualify for admission to postgraduate dental courses i.e. post graduate medical courses. As a result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), responsible for managing the NEET MDS counselling process, will have to reopen the registration for NEET MDS 2024 counselling.
