NEET Counselling Schedule: Know the complete process of the first round of MCC NEET UG counselling here

MCC NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2024: After the announcement of NTA NEET Re-Revised Result 2024, the NEET UG 2024 result is out. Now students are eagerly waiting for the counseling process to begin. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which is the counseling conducting authority, will soon announce the NEET UG 2024 counseling dates on its website mcc.nic.in.

AACCC (All-India AYUSH Central Counselling Committee) will be the AIQ counselling authority for BAMS, BUMS and BSMS courses under NCISM. AACCC will also be the AIQ counselling authority for BHMS under NCH.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct counselling for 15 per cent of All India Quota seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, ESIC and AFMC, BHU and AMU seats. Candidates can visit the website www.mcc.nic.in for more details.

Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per DGHS instructions and counselling will be closed once the seats are filled. “The details and schedule of counselling will be available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Directorates of Medical Education of the states,” NTA said in a revised notice.

For state quota and other seats falling under the purview of states, candidates can apply in their domicile states, and a merit list will be prepared by the respective counselling authorities as per the state rules based on the All India Rank. Counselling for private medical colleges will also be conducted by the respective state counselling authority. Candidates are advised to get in touch with the respective counselling authorities and the concerned institutes for further details.

MCC NEET Counseling Round 1: This is how the first round of NEET counseling will be

Eligible candidates are required to register on MCC website i.e. www.mcc.nic.in to participate in the counselling process for allotment of seats.

Usually there are four rounds of AIQ online counselling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Round 3 (earlier known as AIQ Mop-up Round) and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.

NEET Counselling Round-1 (AIQ/Central Institute/University/AIIMS/JIPMER/Deemed University/AMU/BHU/B.Sc. Nursing)

Main Counselling Registration which will involve payment of non-refundable registration fees and refundable security amount (refunded only to the same account from which payment is made).

Exercising options on all days and locking options.

Process of NEET UG Seat Allotment: Round-1 Necessary certificates have to be uploaded after the declaration of Round-1 results on the MCC website.

Physical reporting at the allotted Medical / Dental college in 1st round with original documents – (Candidates who have been allotted seats in 1st round can opt to upgrade from 1st round to 2nd round for which they have to report in person at the allotted college with original documents.
