Hearing petitions challenging the NEET UG 2024 exam, the Supreme Court today asked the Central government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) a number of questions about the details of the paper leak and the steps taken to identify the beneficiaries of the fraud. Stating that the possibility of paper leak in the NEET-UG exam cannot be ruled out, the court said it remains to be ascertained how widespread the paper leak was so that the question of ordering a re-examination can be decided.

Meanwhile, many NEET candidates may have doubts about NEET counseling. In many reports, July 6 was stated as the date for NEET counseling, but let us make it clear that at present there is no clear date for the start of NEET UG Counseling and the Health Ministry had recently given information in this regard.
The counselling for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 has been postponed till further notice. This update on NEET UG All India Quota (AIQ) seat counselling came after the Supreme Court refused to delay the NEET UG counselling.

The Health Ministry said that no date notification has been issued regarding NEET UG counseling at present, so there is no question of it being postponed and any information coming in this regard is wrong.

It is clarified that the date of NEET UG counseling has not been notified yet, so any news of its postponement is wrong.’
