NEET 2025 Update: This time NEET exam can be conducted on computer, blueprint is being prepared

The country’s biggest medical entrance exam Well This time UG may be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Union Education Ministry is in talks with the Health Ministry and the National Testing Agency regarding CBT mode. There is every possibility that the pattern of this examination may change. After complaints of irregularities in NEET UG exam in 2024, a high power committee was formed. Based on the recommendations of the committee, the ministry has started preparations to prepare a blueprint for changes in the competitive exam.

NEET: A blueprint for change is being made

According to the instructions of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Education Ministry is considering every recommendation of the High Power Committee. A blueprint of possible changes is being prepared. The High Power Committee has also suggested a hybrid model. Under which the question paper will be sent digitally to the examination centers and students will give their answers on the OMR sheet. This will completely eliminate the possibility of question paper leaking. NEET will also be organized by NTA.

It is noteworthy that NTA has also decided to conduct the UGC NET examination in CBT mode. Notification has also been issued regarding this. Now waiting for NEET 2025 notification. Which will be released after the final decision on the changes is taken.

What is NEET exam?

Most of the candidates apply for NEET UG. On the basis of which admission is done in MBBS, BDS, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and other courses. More than 24 lakh candidates had applied in 2024 and till now this paper is conducted only in pen and paper i.e. offline mode. This paper is held in the first week of May and it is expected that soon students will be informed about the change in the pattern of NEET exam.
