NEET 2024: If there is even 0.001% negligence then… Supreme Court shows strictness on NEET case

What did the Supreme Court say on the NEET issue? The top court once again heard the medical entrance exam UG NEET 2024. On Tuesday, June 18, the Supreme Court Well Heard a petition of 2024. During this, SC reprimanded the National Testing Agency (NTA) and said, ‘If there is even 0.001% negligence on someone’s part, then it should be dealt with completely. The children have prepared for the exam, we cannot forget their hard work’.

The Supreme Court was hearing petitions seeking cancellation of NEET Exam 2024 for all students and re-conducting of NEET exam. During this, the court told the National Testing Agency, ‘As an agency conducting the exam, you must be fair. If there is a mistake, then say yes, this is a mistake and we are going to take this action. At least this will build people’s confidence in you.’

NEET hearing: ‘Supreme hearing’ on July 8

An important hearing in the Supreme Court on the NEET irregularities case is scheduled to be held on July 8. Immediately after the NEET UG exam 2024, all the petitions including NEET paper leak, NEET cancellation, which have been filed in the top court, have been given the date of hearing on July 8.

Meanwhile, NEET re-exam is being conducted on 23 June for those students who were earlier given grace marks. But later NTA withdrew the Grace Marks. Apart from this, NEET UG Counseling 2024 (MCC Counseling 2024) can start from July 6. The court has not banned NEET Counseling.

At the same time, the Supreme Court has also said that even after counseling, if it is proved that the NEET paper was leaked or there was fraud, then the exam can be cancelled.
