To apply for the post of Professor, candidates must have a PhD degree. Also, it is necessary to have a minimum of ten years of experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor/Research in any university/college. Similarly, for Associate Professor also, one must have a PhD degree. One must have a Master’s degree with minimum 55 percent marks. It is also necessary to have 8 years of teaching experience. NCERT Latest Vacancy 2024: Salary

• Salary- After being selected for the post of Professor, the candidates will be given a salary of up to Rs 1,44,200. At the same time, Associate Professor will be given a salary of Rs 1,31,400 and Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian will be given a salary of up to Rs 57,700.
• Application fee- Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS category will have to submit Rs 1000/- as application fee. On the other hand, SC, ST, PWD and female candidates are exempted from application fees.
