Why did Navjot Singh Sidhu get angry?

New DelhiThe Indian team for the Champions Trophy has been announced. Former Indian opening batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu has raised questions on the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee’s decision to drop Mohammed Siraj from the Indian ODI team for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. he/she has said that if I had lived, I would have definitely picked him/her up.

Siddu said, “Looking at the Indian team for the Champions Trophy, it seems that the selectors have given importance to all-rounders. The team has four quality all-rounders like Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. And this team can stand strong even in difficult situations. But if I had to choose a team, I would have played four fast bowlers and three spinners. I would have definitely kept Mohammad Siraj in the team.”

Team India is not happy with the new policy of BCCI, Rohit Sharma said – Everyone should come to me…

Navjot Singh Siddu further said, “The reason is that when we included four spinners in the West Indies, you dropped one of them (Yuzvendra Chahal) and did not play him/her a single match. But if you look at the conditions in Sharjah and Dubai, spinners are not that effective there. “A little bit here and there, but overall I see a good balance in the team.”

India’s squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal.
