New Delhi :Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is going to complete its hundred episodes on coming Sunday, 30 April. On this occasion, the government has planned to highlight the benefits derived from this programme, its impact on the ground and the changes brought about in the society. Under this, a national conference is being organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate this conference under the banner of Prasar Bharati while Home Minister Amit Shah will conclude it. All the celebrities from entertainment, films, sports, giving something to the society will also participate in the whole day long convention. In this, two books based on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be released. Also, a coin and stamp will also be issued. The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program was launched on October 3, 2014. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apoorva Chandra gave this information. he/she told that every month PM Modi tells the people of the country ‘Mann Ki Baat’. During this, he/she mentions the people and organizations doing something creative or innovative in the society. So far the PM has mentioned 500 individuals and 250 organizations. Out of these, 105 people have been specially invited to participate in this conference. The conference is going to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. Chandra told that Vice President Dhankhar will release two books. The first book will be based on some of the important personalities and their deeds featured in the last 99 episodes. The second book will be based on success stories of people doing something innovative and creative in the society and the impact of Mann Ki Baat on the ground in the form of a coffee table book. At the same time, during the closing ceremony, Home Minister Shah will release commemorative coins of Rs 100 and a commemorative postage stamp.
On this occasion, 105 such people have been called, whose work and achievements were mentioned by PM Modi in his/her dialogue program from time to time. All these people will stay in Delhi as government guests for the next three days. Apart from participating in this event, all of them will be shown important sightseeing places of Delhi like PM Museum, Gandhi Smriti, Kartavya Path, War Memorial, Red Fort etc. Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi says that at present this program of PM is offered in 12 foreign languages including 23 Indian languages and 29 dialects apart from English. During the conference, different sessions have been organized on different themes. In these, subjects like women power, upliftment of heritage, self-reliance through mind dialogue and mass movement through appeal have been kept. Celebrities from various fields including environment, social service, entrepreneurship, medical, including Bollywood’s Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, South actress Shobhana, Grammy Award winning musician and environmentalist Ricky Kej, Deepa Malik, Nikhat Zareen will participate in these.The individuals and organizations mentioned will listen to this episode as guests in the Raj Bhavans of their respective states. At the same time, the government is also planning to broadcast it through its embassies and missions in all the countries of the world. It is worth mentioning that instead of flowers or bouquets to honor the guests and other celebrities who come on the stage during this program, they will be honored with handmade products of artisans and artists mentioned in the Mann Ki Baat program. For example, girl toys from Andhra Pradesh, Kavi paintings from Goa, Pattachitra art made on soft stone from Odisha and products made from banana stem fiber will be felicitated by the guests.
