Nana Patekar’s elder son died two and a half years after his/her birth, he/she said- he/she used to hate seeing him/her

Bollywood actor Nana Patekar is often in the news. he/she freely expresses his/her views on popular issues. But he/she talks very little about his/her personal life. In a recent interview, he/she spoke openly about the death of his/her elder son. he/she told the reason for his/her departure from this world and became emotional. Nana Patekar told how he/she was in pain since birth and that is why he/she died. Nana Patekar told in an interview to ‘The Lallantop’ that his/her elder son had a problem in one eye. he/she could not see. ‘I started hating him/her so much that when I saw him/her, I thought what people would think about what kind of son Nana has. I did not think about what he/she feels or how he/she feels. I only thought what people would think about my son. his/her name was Durvasa. he/she spent two and a half years with us but what can you do. Some things are fixed in life.’

Nana Patekar revealed that he/she named his/her son after the angry sage Durvasa. he/she also told how he/she met his/her wife Neelakanti. According to the actor, they met during a play. Where she was a bank officer who got a salary of Rs 2500. Neelakanti told him/her that if he/she wanted to do plays etc., he/she can do it because the money will come anyway.

Nana Patekar used to smoke cigarettes even while bathing

Nana Patekar told that he/she had stopped smoking because of his/her sister. he/she said, ‘It was because of my sister that I stopped smoking. She had lost her only son. At that time I used to smoke about 60 cigarettes a day. I used to smoke even while bathing. But this is a very bad thing. No one would sit in my car because of the smell. I never drank alcohol but used to smoke a lot. My sister then saw me coughing after smoking. She said what else do you want to see?’ Nana Patekar was very sad to hear this. And he/she stopped smoking from that day onwards.
