Nalanda Violence: Violence in Bihar’s Nalanda is not taking the name of calm. Here in the evening after the flag march of the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police, again there was firing between the two groups. Three people were injured in this firing in Paharpura of Nalanda. In this violence, someone’s jaw and someone’s hand got shot. According to the information, several rounds of bullets have been fired. Since this incident, tension has spread in the area. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the administration team is keeping an eye on every nook and corner of Nalanda and is conducting a flag march.

Even on Friday, during the Ramnavami yatra, disturbances, violence, firing, vandalism and arson were witnessed here. Violence flared up once again on Saturday in Paharpur, located a short distance from Friday’s scene. During this several rounds have been fired. Police and administration teams have reached the spot and are trying to control the situation.
There was violence on Friday as well
At least 14 people were injured in a clash between two groups following a Ram Navami procession near Gagan Diwan of Laheri police station area in Nalanda on Friday, 4 of them had bullet injuries, 3 of whom were admitted to the Patna Medical College. and referred to the hospital. According to the information, the condition of all the injured is stable. In this regard, District Magistrate of Nalanda district Shashank Shubhankar said, we are getting information about the incident through CCTV footage, drone camera and videography. The miscreants will be identified on the basis of evidence. They will not be spared, strict action will be taken against the culprits.
