It was said to stick to the first statementEarlier, in an interview with the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Nadav said that he stood by his comments because he “knows how to recognize propaganda in the form of a film.” He said, “It’s not a crime to make bad films, but this is a very crude, manipulative and violent propaganda film. The truth is that even I couldn’t help but imagine a situation that Could be in Israel one day soon.” And I would be glad that in such a situation a foreign jury head would be ready to say things as he sees them.” He also said that ‘due to political pressure, the film was pushed into the official festival competition’. ‘
