‘Munna Bhaiya’ Divyendu Sharma now wants to work in a horror film, wants to play the role of a vampire.

Divyendu Sharma aka ‘Munna Bhaiya’ says that he/she wants to play the role of ‘vampire’ in a horror film. ‘Mirzapur’ fame Divyendu started his/her film career by working in the comedy film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ (2011). After playing lead and side roles in many films, Divyendu got a role in the crime web series ‘Mirzapur’, Sachhi. People have liked the event based show ‘The Railway Men’ and this year’s comedy film ‘Madgaon Express’.

‘As an artist you will become a burden’

Divyendu believes that with success comes some difficulties, but he/she has learned to fight these problems with grace. Divyendu said while talking to ‘PTI-Bhasha’, ‘It is important to enjoy every moment and it is also important to leave it there and move ahead, otherwise it will become a burden on you as an artiste. I am thankful to my fans who appreciate my work. Despite that pressure, I don’t want to keep playing the same characters.

‘Now I want to try my hand in horror films’

he/she said, ‘Now I want to try my hand in horror films. I also have a dream in life to do a good horror film and play the role of a vampire in it. The fun is in playing different characters where there is no fear of failure or worrying about how people see it.

Playing the role of a cop named Samit

The actor will now be seen in his/her next film ‘Agni’. In this film he/she is playing the role of a policeman named Samit. In this film, he/she will be seen investigating fire incidents along with a fireman. The character of fireman Vitthal is played by Pratik Gandhi who is a relative of Samit in the film.

Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Agni’

Rahul Dholakia is directing the film ‘Agni’. Divyendu said, ‘Playing a cop or an inspector in a film is something we have seen before and it is an important character, so it is attractive too. But the world that RD (Rahul Dholakia) has created in this film (Agni) will attract people. It’s like going to another planet.’
