‘Mrs’ Movie Review: This film by Sanya Malhotra raises the sensitive subject in a sharp way

The Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ released in 2021 was well liked. Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Mrs.’, released directly on OTT this week, is the official remake of this. Earlier, the film has also been remake in Tamil cinema. Director Aarti Kadav’s ‘Mrs.’ has been appreciated at several international film festivals before its release in India. However, the film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ has not shown any remake of it.

Story of ‘Mrs’

‘Mrs.’ is the story of a girl Richa (Sanya Malhotra) who marries Diwakar (Nishant Dahiya) a lot of desires. But as soon as Miss is made from Miss, she is interviewed by a different world. Doctor Diwakar by profession has her parents in her house. Diwakar is very busy due to his/her long duty shift. The rest of her time is spent playing with friends to recharge herself, while Richa is busy with her mother -in -law to handle the kitchen. his/her father -in -law is of a few old thoughts, who do not like food outside.

Meanwhile, suddenly one day Richa’s mother -in -law has to go out for some time. Due to this, all the responsibility of the house is responsible for the new Bahurani. ‘Mrs’ movie review

Director Aarti Kadav has made a beautiful film on a very important subject of Indian society. While making a remake of the original film, he/she has made some changes in the script keeping in mind the cultural changes. Despite this, he/she did not let the film of about two and a half hours weakened from anywhere.

The story of the film adds you from the beginning and then takes you with you till the end. On the strength of the film’s powerful story and screenplay, Aarti introduces you to social challenges till the end and then gives a message to men with women through strong climax.

The music of the film is fine, while the camera work has become good. If we talk about the actors, then Sanya, who has already won the Best Actress Award for this film, has done amazing work as usual. Sanya, who is going to complete a decade in her acting career, has done another challenging role in this film.

Kanwaljeet Singh is also frozen in the role of typical father -in -law. The rest of the artists, including Nishant Dahiya, are also well in their role.
