MP Election 2023: All preparations for counting of votes completed in Indore, counting of votes will be done in 9 rooms, electronic devices will remain banned.

Indore: The counting of votes for the assembly elections is to take place tomorrow i.e. on 3rd December. Due to this, counting centers have been set up in 52 districts in the state where counting of votes will take place under tight security. After this the trends and results will be released. Tight security arrangements have been made at the counting center of Indore city. There are 9 assembly seats in Indore district whose votes are to be counted.

Actually, all preparations have been made for the counting of votes for 9 assembly seats of Indore. Amidst tight security, arrangements for counting of votes have been made at Nehru Stadium in Indore. This time, some changes have been made to ensure that the counting of votes is completed quickly. Collector Ilaiah Raja T, while giving information to the journalists in the media center built in Nehru Stadium, said that this time all the results are expected to come by 8 pm.

LED screen installed for counting results

Collector Ilaiah Raja T said that two big LED screens are being installed in the media center to see the counting results of each round. Results can be seen quickly here. As per past tradition, adequate number of television sets are also being installed to see the entire election scenario of Madhya Pradesh. Ilaiah Raja T said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, mobile phones and cameras will not be allowed inside the counting rooms. No person will be able to do any kind of photo or videography at the Matangana site.

Electronic gadgets banned up to 100 meters

During counting of votes, use of mobile, cellular, cordless phones and wireless sets will be prohibited within the radius of 100 meters of the counting centre. The postal ballot papers will be kept in the strong room on the evening of December 2. Postal ballot papers will be sent from the treasury to the counting venue in the presence of representatives of the candidates. They will be counted first.

Collector Ilaiah Raja said that counting of votes will take place in 9 chambers of the stadium. CCTV cameras have been installed in every room. Mobile phones are banned in the rooms. No videography can be done in the rooms.
