The film is the story of Rautu Ki Beli, a village in Mussoorie, a famous hill station in Uttarakhand. Being a hilly area, there is no chaos in the lives of the people here. But one day suddenly the inspector of that area, Deepak Singh Negi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), gets the news that the warden of Sevadham School, Sangeeta (Narayani Shastri), has been murdered. he/she starts investigating the case along with his/her colleague Sub Inspector Naresh Prabhakar Dimri (Rajesh Kumar). Due to lack of experience in investigating murder cases, Inspector Deepak and his/her colleagues have to face many problems. Meanwhile, the needle of suspicion turns towards the school manager Manoj Kesari (Atul Tiwari). At the same time, the principal of the school and some other people also come under suspicion. Along with this, a new thing comes to light that some mafias are also eyeing the valuable land of the school. Is Inspector Deepak Negi able to solve the mystery of this murder in Rautu? ‘Rautu Ka Raaj’ gets more interesting in the second half

The film’s director Anand Surapur has brought an interesting story to the screen in a fun way. This film, which is less than two hours long, comes straight to the point. The comedy scenes among the simple people in the picturesque environment of the village attract you, while the thriller mystery moving in slow motion also keeps you hooked.
