It is estimated that monsoon rains are expected in Mumbai around June 10-11. At the same time, monsoon will arrive in the national capital Delhi by June 27. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet. However, light rain occurred on Wednesday amid scorching heat in Delhi. Then the city recorded the highest temperature of the country at 52.3 degrees Celsius. The weather center in Mungeshpur, Delhi recorded 52.3 degrees Celsius at 2.30 pm on Wednesday. However, the IMD feared that such a high temperature was possibly recorded due to a fault in the sensor.

Monsoon is expected to arrive in Delhi by June 27. On the other hand, monsoon rains may occur in Mumbai around June 10-11. West Bengal is still recovering from the effects of cyclone Remal. Monsoon is expected to arrive there between June 10 and 29. IMD has predicted that monsoon will reach Bengaluru by June 13 or 15. The weather agency itself has estimated that monsoon is likely to arrive in Uttar Pradesh between June 18 and 20. On the other hand, monsoon rains are expected in Bihar between June 13 and 18.
