Modi’s third term will set the vision of the century, will India be ahead of China or even America? Experts predict

New Delhi : US-India Partnership Forum (USISPF) chairman John Chambers has made a big prediction for India. he/she said that the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will set the framework for this entire century. By the end of the century, India will become the world’s largest economy. America will be its main partner in this development story. India’s economy will almost double that of China and will also surpass America by 30 to 40 percent. John Chambers has said that the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be very important for India. Under his/her leadership, India will emerge as the world’s largest economy in this century and America will be a major partner in this development journey.

India will be the world’s largest economy by the end of the century!
Chambers is considered a veteran in the tech world. he/she has suggested creating a sovereign wealth fund to invest in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber security and semiconductors. Chambers is also the chairman emeritus of Cisco. he/she said that the India-US partnership, rapid progress in artificial intelligence and stable leadership are creating an ideal situation that will make India the world’s second largest economy in the next three to four decades and the largest economy by the end of this century.

‘In the first 5 years we set the vision for the next 5 years, in the third term we will achieve the vision of a century’
In an interview to our partner Economic Times on the sidelines of the INDUS X summit promoting joint defense innovation, he/she said, “In his/her first five years in office, he/she (PM Modi) laid the foundation for the next five years. In the next five years, he/she laid the foundation for the next 25 years. I think these five years are going to form the framework of the century. This is India’s century.”

he/she further said that Modi’s third term sends a message of predictability and security of investments in India. Chambers said that the vision for the next century will require the US and India to work together and strengthen each other.

‘America will remain India’s major partner’
he/she said, ‘In a positive way, there is going to be an ideal situation and that ideal situation will be made possible by AI, and people have just started scratching the surface of what that means. We are just getting started.’ Chambers further said that partnership with the US adds 2% to Indian GDP while India can add 1% to the GDP of the world’s largest economy.

Chambers said that no matter who wins the upcoming presidential elections, there will be no dramatic change in India-US relations. Describing India as the best place for investment in the entire world, Chambers predicted that by the end of this century, the Indian economy will be 90-100% larger than China’s and perhaps 30-40% larger than the US.
