Modi worships those whom no one asks… About whom did the Prime Minister say this in the Lok Sabha?

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha on Saturday while replying to the two-day discussion on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution. PM Modi fiercely targeted Congress. he/she said that the biggest slogan in the history of India is ‘Garibi Hatao’. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had given the slogan ‘Garibi Hatao’. Referring to the work done by his/her government for the poor and the deprived class, the PM said, Modi worships those people whom no one asks about.

PM Modi targeted Congress

Taking aim at Congress, PM Modi said, Congress’s favorite word is ‘Jumla’. The country knows that the biggest slogan in India which was used by four generations was the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’. You have seen poverty and the poor only on TV and in newspapers. Otherwise they would never have committed such atrocities. The poor of the country did not have toilets or drinking water. We have taken this work forward with great dedication.

‘Gas cylinder delivered to every home’

he/she said, crores of mothers of the country used to cook food in smoke, their health was deteriorating. We worked to free women from smoke. Till 2013, there was discussion as to how many cylinders will be given, we have delivered gas cylinders to every home. Our government worked to implement Ayushman Yojana to provide free treatment to the poor. We did the work of giving ration to the needy, these people make fun of it.

‘Open the doors of banks for the poor’

Banks were nationalized in the name of the poor in the country, but till 2014, there were 50 crore citizens of the country who had not seen the door of the bank, but today by opening the accounts of 50 crore poor, the doors of the bank were opened for the poor. A Prime Minister used to say that of one rupee coming out of Delhi, only 15 paisa reached the poor. But today every rupee that comes out of Delhi reaches the poor in its entirety.

‘Created sign language for the disabled’

Prime Minister Modi said, Modi worships those whom no one asks. he/she said that disabled people struggle every day, but the previous governments did nothing for them. We created such facilities in trains where disabled people can travel without inconvenience. Apart from this, we have now worked on creating a common sign language for the disabled.

‘Ministry created for tribals and small farmers’

Apart from this, the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government created a ministry for tribals. The Congress people never thought of doing this. Our government created a separate ministry for the fishermen community and gave a separate budget. To give strength to the cooperative sector to empower the small farmers of our country, our government created a separate Cooperative Ministry. We created a separate skills ministry to provide skills to the youth. Our government has worked to advance every section of the society. We have worked to provide the rights of transgenders, which no one in the society was asking for.
