Modi is sure to become the Prime Minister, leaders selected in NDA alliance, can take oath on 8 June

New Delhi: In the NDA meeting held on Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s residence, all the parties have unanimously elected Narendra Modi as their leader. In the meeting held at PM Awas, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the NDA leaders passed the resolution and said, ‘140 crore countrymen of India have seen the country develop in every field in the last 10 years due to the public welfare policies of the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After a very long gap, almost 6 decades, the people of India have chosen a strong leadership with full majority for the third consecutive time. We are all proud that the NDA fought and won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections unitedly under the leadership of Narendra Modi. We all NDA leaders unanimously choose Narendra Modi as our leader.’

‘NDA government worked for the all-round development of the country’

The resolution further states that, “The NDA government under the leadership of Modi Ji is committed to serving the poor, women, youth, farmers and exploited, deprived and suffering citizens of India. The NDA government will continue to work to improve the standard of living of the people of India for the all-round development of the country by preserving the heritage of India.”

Who all are present in the NDA meeting?

In the meeting held at PM residence under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Bihar Chief Minister and JDU leader Nitish Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Eknath Shinde, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Chirag Paswan from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare from NCP (Ajit Pawar faction), Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal (S), Jayant Chaudhary from RLD, HD Kumaraswamy from JDS, Pawan Kalyan from Jansena Party, Jitan Ram Manjhi from Hindustani Awam Morcha, Atul Bora from Assam Gana Parishad, Sudesh Mahato from AJSU, former JDU national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh and JDU national general secretary Sanjay Jha, including many leaders of other allies of NDA were also present.

Modi was welcomed in the meeting

In the NDA meeting, BJP National President JP Nadda congratulated Prime Minister Modi by presenting a bouquet and all the leaders applauded. The leaders of all the parties present in the meeting congratulated Prime Minister Modi for the victory and also expressed faith in his/her leadership. Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar and Eknath Shinde were seen sitting on one side next to PM Modi and JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah on the other side.

Modi can take oath as PM on 8 June

It is being told that the swearing-in ceremony of the new NDA government can be held on 8 June. Before this, in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on 7 June, all the BJP MPs will together elect Narendra Modi as the leader of the party’s parliamentary party. After this, there will be a meeting of all the NDA MPs, in which Narendra Modi will be elected the leader of the NDA Parliamentary Party. The next day on 8 June, Narendra Modi will take oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time. Earlier, in the Union Cabinet meeting held at the PM residence under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi, the recommendation to dissolve the current Lok Sabha (17th Lok Sabha) was approved, which the President approved and dissolved the current Lok Sabha.
